"This is the hardest question. There have been so many since I joined the Bove team. It's hard to pick just one!"

"I worked for Gordon's for 1 1/2 years and have a jewelry diploma through the Gemological Institute of America."
What do you do in your spare time?
"What is spare time? My youngest son and his three and five-year-old live with me!" smile emoticon
What is a fun fact about you?
"I love to laugh and have a good time no matter what. I always look for the (proverbial) silver lining!"

All of them are special. Making them all happy is a special moment.
What is your background related to Boves?
30 years in retail jewelry. I started out at Gimbels in 1976 at 8th and Market in Philadelphia.
Do you belong to any organizations?
AAA! In case my car breaks down. It's a long ride home--48 miles each way to and from work! smile emoticon

I do enjoy a good margarita now and then with hot crabs and good

12 years!
What is your position?
Sales Associate
What is your favorite part of working at Boves?
Helping the customers find that special gift. Spending time with customers. Getting to know my customers.
Do you have a favorite customer memory you'd like to share?
Well, not a big sale, but doing something special for a customer. A gentleman walked in with his wife's wedding band on his finger. He said he wanted to buy a new band for his wife. I said, how long has she been wearing this one? It was a wide gold band. He said, "52 years." I said, "Then that is the one she will want to wear!" I said we can polish it and make it look like new. So, that is what we did.
I never thought any more about it until a few months ago. His wife came in and was getting some repairs done. We began talking and she shared with me that she had lost the love of her life, that her husband had died. She said, "Do you remember the phrase, "That is the only one she will want to wear?" She was so grateful that I did that kind act that day and that she still had her original wedding band, all polished and looking like new and that I hadn't convinced her husband to buy a new one.
What do you do in your spare time?
I like spending time with my husband, visiting people, and attending church each Sunday morning. I love family time.
